I can see something called " Set Priority " in the Windows Task Manager by right-click a running process.What does it mean?

The operating system behind Windows User Interface gives a slice of time for each process (program) to do its work then it switches to the next one. For high priority processes the slice of time is longer (that will affect the performance of all other processes running on your machine)
