I spent a whole day downloading drivers and looking for solutions to why my BIOS wouldn’t detect my hard drive and the WHOLE TIME I JUST NEEDED A SATA DATA CORD!!!! TY SO MUCH!
Can someone please tell the importance of MS or Access Time and what i should look for when buying a new hard drive please? Thanks.
This was a big help for me, thanks!
so how much is that drive?…
and how many GB is that?….
this is alot easier than installing a video card right?
@sarjhon No installing a video card is cake, HDDs are more difficult because you still have to install the OS on it. unless its just a slave in which case you would just want to format it
@sarjhon Yea I just installed a new video card and it was really really simple.
after you have installed a new harddrive dont you have to install the operating system
i have a old laptop and i think its hardrive had a physical crash because it says missing system config file and it was making a really loud drilling noise then a day later it was silent and it has a weird port with tons of pins that only connects to one slot on its connection port, do you know where i can buy a hardrive?
and also how to format it?
@1zacster just go on amazon or newegg. newegg is best for computer hardware because it has comprehensive reviews. make sure you know what kind of interface your hdd is.
you put the sata drive in the wrong way
